Debra K. Moore

President/Acting Secretary

Ms. Moore is originally from Cheverly, Maryland and grew up traveling the United States and overseas as a child of a military family. She has been a Florida resident since 1977 and currently lives in Palm Beach Gardens. Ms. Moore has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Northwood University and an MBA from the University of Florida. She works as a Performance Measurement Specialist for CSC, a global company with over 90,000 employees worldwide. Before transferring to CSC in 1999, she worked for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft for 14 years in various roles in the company's computing department. Ms. Moore has been involved with the founders of Gardens School of Technology Arts since early in the process of charter development, licensure and the opening of the school and is glad to be actively involved in the on-going governance and oversight of the organization.

Jon Andio - Vice President

Jon Andio is a licensed electrician, working in the electrical trades for well over 20 years, and working as a Master Electrician since 1999. He is the owner/operator of 1 Stop Generator Shop, a local family-owned business operating in Palm Beach County since 2005.  Jon has been a Board Member since 2014 and, along with his wife Jessica, is also an active member of the school’s Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) since 2012.  Jon and Jessica have three children, two of which have attended the school since its inception.

Gerald Hoenings - Treasurer

Mr. Hoenings was born in Farmingdale, New York and graduated from Grand Canyon University with a BS in Accounting. He obtained his Masters in Accounting from Kaplan University. He currently works for Pinnacle Tax of Jupiter and has been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER(tm) since 1997. He and his wife, Patricia moved to Florida in 2004. Since 2 of his 3 children attended Gardens School of Technology Arts, he welcomes the opportunity to become involved in the governance of the school. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his family, golfing and coaching his children in youth sports.

Christine Farley - Board Member

Christine Farley relocated from Rhode Island to Florida in 2005.  She graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1992 and Northeastern University School of Law in 1995. Upon her relocation to Florida, Ms. Farley left the practice of law to work for Seagull Industries for the Disabled, Inc. in Riviera Beach, Florida, where she eventually became the Director of Education for Seagull Academy for Independent Living, a public charter school for intellectually disabled students.  During that time, she completed the Teacher Certification Program at Palm Beach State College and obtained her certification in Exceptional Education.  She left Seagull Industries for the Disabled, Inc. in June of 2013 to resume her law practice, which focuses on marital and family law. She lives in Jupiter Farms with her two children, one of whom has had the privilege of attending Gardens School of Technology Arts since its inception. She is also a Guardian Ad Litem and serves on the Board of Directors of The Exchangette Club of the Northern Palm Beaches, a local charity group.

Parag Mathuria - Board Member

Dr. Parag H. Mathuria is originally from Mumbai, India and  migrated to the United States in 2001 as a post doctorate  at  University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa and The University of Cincinnati, Ohio.  Dr. Mathuria has a Bachelor's, and  Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from Shivaji University, Kolhapur, India and PHD degree in Mechanical Engineering, IIT Bombay India. In addition,  he has  Master’s degree in (MBA) Business Administration in Finance from  Wright State University, Dayton, OH.   He is a Professional Engineer (PE) from Ohio State, since 2006. Currently, he works as an associate director at Pratt and Whitney(PW),  a UTC company. Before transferring to PW, he worked for Carrier Corporation (UTC company) for 5 years as staff engineer as well as  Sound and vibration lab manager.  He has total 20 years of experience in the specialized field of sound and vibration of different products.  He is also a full member of  American Society of Mechanical Engineering (ASME), Acoustical Society of America (ASA) and Institute of Noise control Engineering (INCE).  He has been a Florida resident along with  his wife  and two children since March 2016 and currently lives in Palm Beach Gardens.  His elder son is graduated from GSOTA  and  younger daughter is also at GSOTA.

Gloria Myers - Board Member

Mrs. Myers was born in Brooklyn, New York and graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor in Social Work. She obtained her Masters in Social work from Barry University. She currently works for The Florida Department of Veteran Affairs as A Veteran Claim Examiner. She relocated to Florida after her Honorable discharge from the US Army in 2001. Since all four (4) of her children attended Gardens School of Technology Arts, she welcomes the opportunity to become involved in the governance of the school. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and watching sports.
